Emma Moore, Intake & Referrals Specialist
Emma Moore joined GreenLight ABA as our Intake & Referrals Specialist, bringing a unique combination of clinical experience, administrative expertise, and a deeply personal connection to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Emma’s journey in ABA began while pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Education, when she entered the field as a “very green” RBT and quickly discovered a passion that continues to grow stronger each day.
Since then, Emma has gained comprehensive experience across multiple facets of ABA, including direct therapy, clinic management, administrative support, talent acquisition, and client caseload coordination for fieldwork supervision. Her diverse background allows her to understand the full spectrum of what families experience when seeking ABA services, making her an invaluable resource for guiding families through the intake process with empathy, knowledge, and genuine care.
Emma is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue Global, and plans to become a BCBA within the next year. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University which she leverages to support families with compassion and educational insight.
Supporting positive behavior change is both Emma’s profession and her passion. As a proud mom of two wonderful boys. Leo, who has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Aiden, who has ADHD, she brings firsthand understanding of the challenges and triumphs families experience on their ABA journey. This personal perspective, combined with her professional expertise, makes her exceptionally equipped to connect with families and ensure they receive the support and information they need.
One of Emma’s greatest interests is the application of ABA across the lifespan and across cultures. She truly believes that everyone can benefit from incorporating ABA principles into everyday life. Emma is also bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing GreenLight ABA to better serve our Spanish-speaking families.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys reading, sewing, watching anime, and being regularly challenged to chess matches by her boys (though she admits she’s still very much an amateur!).
